Students will be involved in reading/viewing novels, plays, poetry, films, articles and a wide range of popular culture texts. They will create a wide range of types of texts (genre), including written, spoken and visual. Students are also taught to engage critically with texts, to second guess their effect on others and to consider audience when reading and when creating.
