Academic Program of Excellence

Academic Program of Excellence

Forest Lake State High School’s Academic Program of Excellence offers students unique learning experiences through engagement with creative and critical higher order thinking skills.  The program extends students beyond classroom curriculum through Project Based Learning, focussing on eSTEAM and humanities based tasks.  Students also have an opportunity to undertake a Janus elective, where psychological theories and concepts of everyday life are investigated, preparing students for senior psychology pathways.
