At FLSHS, we use the acronym, PRIDE, to reflect our whole school behavioural expectations.
Prepared, Respectful, Inclusive, Dedicated, Engaged.
Staff at FLSHS have "High expectations - every student, every class, every day", which is maintained through interactive, engaging and meaningful lessons for all students. Behaviour management strategies are used that work from the least intrusive to most intrusive (buddy class referral).  If at any point the behaviour of one student is seriously jeopardising the learning of others – the student in question is removed from the classroom environment through use of the referral system to a buddy class. Referred students are required to attend a Behaviour Workshop where their behaviour is investigated on an individual basis and to catch up on curriculum work they have missed.
