Forest Lake Shopping Centre
Centre Management of Forest Lake Shopping Centre has advised that it will permit Forest Lake SHS students entry to the shopping centre before and after school during specific times.
Forest Lake SHS students can access the shopping centre before school from 8:00-8:20am and after school from 2:30pm onwards.
Students are not permitted to enter the shopping centre during the school day unless they are in possession of a pass from school identifying a legitimate reason to enter the shopping centre ie dentist, doctor
The limitations on entry do not apply during school holidays; on weekends or during pre-notified exam blocks (years 11 and 12 students)
The Forest Lake Shopping Centre Management and Forest Lake SHS have agreed on some behavioural expectations for students in and around the shopping centre.
Friendly groups eg groups of 4 or less, use appropriate language and tone
Shop and go eg don’t loiter, keep paths and walkways clear
Expect Respect eg respect community members, make sensible choices
The Forest Lake Shopping Centre has also advised that the waiting areas around the shopping centre are not pick up and drop off areas for Forest Lake SHS students and parents and it would be appreciated if students and parents observe this request.
Forest Lake SHS appreciates the support of the Shopping Centre Management Team in working with us to maintain the good name of our school and to encourage positive student behaviours in our community.
