Information and Communication Technology is integral to learning. The use of ICTs can accelerate, enable, improve and transform student learning in all key learning areas and phases of education. Through use of ICTs, teachers can engage the digital generation, improve individual learning opportunities, spark innovation and enhance pedagogy.

Bring your own device in 2024
In 2024 we will be transitioning to a full Bring Your Own Device (BYOx) school.
We know that when every child in the classroom has their individual device, teachers can use future-focused teaching and learning experiences. This results in students being more engaged and successful in their learning. The result will be that your student develops improved technology skills and meets our school purpose to become successful gobal citizens.
Parents have the option to purchase a device for their child or to participate in the school 'Laptop4Rent' Scheme. To support parent/carers the school has developed a number of key documents located in the links on the right hand side.
Parent Information Sessions will be run at school for those who wish to hear further details, hear of purchasing option, and/or ask questions at:
Session 1 - Monday 24 July - 5.00pm (afternoon of Parent Teacher Interviews) in the Arts Centre
Session 2 - Monday 14 August - 4.30pm in the Art Centre of Excellence (ACE)
Session 3 - Thursday 12 October - TEAMS meeting online (details posted here at a later date)
Session 4 - Monday 20 November - 5.00pm - location TBA
We have already embraced the use of technology in learning with students using QLearn and mandatory electronic assessment submission through Turnitin. In 2024 we will extend this with the Education Perfect Platform for students in the junior school. BYOx will open up many other opportunities for teachers to access the wide range of digital learning experiences for students.
