We are very excited to announce that our HOD of Digital Technology, MJ Raatz was 1 of only 22 teachers Australia wide, to receive the very prestigious 2023 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Award in Canberra last night.
MJ was recognised for his dedication and creating positive change to our school community and giving children opportunities to thrive in school and beyond.
At FLAKE, MJ has combated increasing student absenteeism and disengagement, by incorporating students’ interest in gaming into the curriculum through our innovative and highly impactful Esports program.
