For over 20 years Kinjo High School students from Japan have visited our school for 3 weeks during their Summer holidays. Many of our students interact with the 30 Kinjo students, aged 15 ~ 17 years, making rice balls, playing Kahoot and practising both English and Japanese with dozens of surveys and questionnaires comparing their school lifestyle with ours.
Kinjo students will engage in Australiana cooking and craft workshops, play badminton with our students, and join dance, music, esports and even a psychology class.
Thanks to all the wonderful FLAKER teachers and students who helped with interactive classes and the Kinjo host families who make this cultural exchange happen every year at Forest Lake SHS.
